I feel it is important that brides know how terrible my experience was at California Bride. They basically ordered me a mock Maggie Soterro dress and tried to pass it off as what I ordered when the only dress I tried on in the store was a Maggie Soterro. I already knew going into the store the exact dress I wanted and they had it on the rack in my size just a different color. After waiting 6 months for my dress to arrive and getting the wrong one, they refused to return my cash deposit. After weeks of fighting with them, they finlly agreed to order me the correct dress (a real Maggie) but would not give me the matching veil which was part of the original contract (which by the way, was written in code #'s and that is what they used to claim I ordered the mock dress and not the authentic Maggie). My argument was how was I supposed to know what #5874637 was!! I tried on 1 dress only and that is the one I ordered. I had to wait another 2 months for them to get me the right dress, 16 days before my wedding. It was the worst experience ever and I would never recommend for anyone to purchase from California Bride.
