Do not recommend Vacation Rewards

In February of 2011 I booked a room reservation for Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas, NV for me and a friend of mine at a really great price I must say. My friend and I were leaving from two different states, and had booked the hotel reservation prior
to our flights. After realizing she would arrive to the hotel earlier than I would...I called and asked the Vacation Rewards representative if we made a change in the reservation (changing the name that was on the reservation - allowing my friend to check
into the hotel earlier)would there be a charge, or would it change the rate that I already had. The representative ASSURED me there would be no change. Ha ... was that a lie. I checked the new confirmation email that she sent and the rate that I had previously
increased tremendously. I had to call their customer service line SEVERAL times speaking to several different people before they finally "gave in" and gave me my previous rate --- which they said would not be affected in the first place. Very frustrating experience.
Well I guess I am just a glutton for punishment because I went through Vacation Rewards again for a trip to Jamaica in November 2012. I was recently approached about enrolling with a different travel membership company so I decided to see if I could compare
the differences between the new one and VR with the points per dollars and all. When I looked on my account for vacation rewards I realized that I received no points for my Jamaica trip at all...tried calling in to customer service all they say is they have
no record of the trip anywhere. I gave every number I could find on the reservation, trip dates, my account information...and all they say is those numbers don't belong to this company. But my reservation email CLEARLY states that it was sent from Vacation
Rewards Customer Support... I asked the representative if they booked with third parties...or if there would be any other reason why the points may not have been added to my account and he just said no. Pretty much like he just didn't know what else to tell
me. This was again a frustrating situation. I normally do not write negative reviews about companies, but based on my experiences I cannot recommend this to anyone.
