Is Vayama a scam ?

I booked a ticket from Vayama, via Kayak, in March, for a April trip to India. I had to cancel it, and wanted to reschedule to June. Since April, till today (3rd week of May), Vayama has leading me to circles. Each time I give them the itinerary, they respond back after 3-5 days, saying "tickets not available under special fare class or too expensive or consider other travel dates". I checked Expedia and there were a million available for a great rate. I may have send them atleast 25-30 emails, called their Helpdesk several times, wrote to Kayak as well as Lufthansa, but each time they get a different response. I even told them give me any ticket for any additional cost - for which they sent a quote. But after I replied saying I have accepted the additional cancellation/ rebooking fines of $1200 per traveller, they did not reply at all. The Vayama changes team is out there in India. They delay every action. Hope there is a way I could get hold of them
