I just had my car towed a week ago from this shady tow company dirty looking Hispanic kid with a real crappy attitude named Ralphie or so his shirt said. As if I believe that's his real name. Told me he towed my car for being stored on my apartment complex. When I asked to see proof he told me he wasn't in the office right now and couldn't help me. I just wanted to come pay for my car and see proof as to why my car was towed.
After another days storage was added on he returned my phone call to explain to me why my car was towed. He gave me several different stories as to why my car was towed finally had enough and called San Bernardo police department who told me these were thugs with a business licence and that the type of towing they do is predatory and illegal. This company is under investigation for illegal towing and according to the police they are a tow company that is now operating as Tobin's Towing and Recovery in Riverside. After a lengthy conversation with the apartment manager the vehicle was released for free. My neighbors car was refunded from this tow company also because of its illegal towing. The police told me that they do not recommend using this tow company because of all the complaints they receive about them on a weekly basis.
