Hi! How is everyone today :) I am doing fabulously thanks to Vickie Lee and Debbie at Wiggin Out Salon in Newport Beach. When asked to write an honest recap of my experience at Wiggin Out I jumped at it! Im Jennifer Davis and I am from Orange County,CA. I have Alopecia and just found out I had cancer 6 months ago. So I guess you can say I have been emotionally beaten by the world. For the last two years it had seemed nothing has gone right. Except for one thing. My two other children, whom I love so much, my family, God, my wonderful supportive friends and Wiggin Out. I had been highly depressed not only from having bald patches all over my head but now having no hair at all and going through chemo. Okay. The wigs I have previously worn, were great , at first. Then after the first or second washing, they started to look like my daughters old Barbie Dolls. I would get even more depressed just from wearing them. The hair was heavy didnt curl well and looked like a harry hat on my head. I tried synthetics and they looked even more fake. So...my best friend Karen told me about her co-worker that wore a wig because she had lost her hair from chemotherapy and only Karen and another co-worker knew she wore a wig. Karen said it was beautiful natural red curly hair. I said no way your going to find a wig that is a natural red and curly! Well I was wrong. Karen and Theresa(co-worker) showed up and took me to Wiggin Out Salon to meet up w Vickie and Debbie. They were so funny and so sweet. I actually was laughing and crying at the same time. Anyway. The very first wig that caught my eye was a very thick naturally curly brown wig. The curls were like mine but of course much more healthy hair and way more of it. I said "stop the presses!" That one is MINE! Vickie put it one and behold the wig fit my head perfectly! The hair was definitely my "dream hair" that I never knew I could have! All Karen could say was "wow" "wow" "wow". Did I tell you she said "wow"? So I wanted it, didnt care how much. I felt like the energy of the sun just entered my body. I lit up the room! God thank you for this! It was just what I needed to get my foot out of my slump. Did I leave with the wig? No! Vickie had to put a few highlights in the front to make me look even more gorgeous! LOL.(Im 20 pds overweight and I am bald but beautiful) I waited for another two hrs for that then Vickie Trimmed it up and I had the hottest hair for a cancer patients I had ever seen! It even made my backside look a little smaller LOL. My experience was wonderful! When they talk about causing a transformation in ones life they must have been talking about me because Let me tell you how much my life has changed just from hair???? Well it has. Vickie Lee is one of the most talented, caring, funny and wonderful human beings I have ever met. Debbie is so calming. I didnt get to meet Constance the owner but I heard she is quite talented in her art of Wig design. My wig was one of the examples of that art! The price? Well lets just say that knowing how much I have spent on bad wigs I could have bought two from Wiggin Out. I have had my wig for 3 months now and the hair looks just as it did the first day. Everyone comments to me how beautiful my curly hair is. Men cant take their eyes off me LOL and my kids say how pretty and happy their mother is. My daughter wrote Wiggin Out a thank you letter because they feel that Vickie helped them get their mother back. That is priceless. If there is ever a problem Wiggin Out fixes it right away. I feel cared for and know that I now have a second family at 2400 West Coast Hwy. in Suite 4. I love you Vickie! I love you Debbie! Oh and Bridget even though your not there on Saturdays, you have a lovely voice on the phone and you always have been very kind to me. Thank you Well gotta go now. Kids are waiting to go see Alice in Wonderland! Im going let my hair go wild at the Theater! Hope your not sitting behind me! LOL
