Wiggin Out Salon in Newport Beach (and Thousand Oaks), Constance, Bridget, Vickie and Debbie are the best!
Okay, I said I would write an honest story about my experience at Wiggin Out Salon in Newport Beach. My name is Brittney Lowes and I have had Alopecia since I have been 12 years old. I am a know it all and I had thought I had worn every wig that exists in the world today. My parents have spent.....well alot of money on wigs that after two days I would put it in a drawer because it felt like an alien was attacking my brain. I went to Wiggin Out thinking I of course was going to be rightous and make everyone wrong because I have heard so many owners of wigs shops tell me that "their hair is the best" "its Europeans finest hair" blah....blah....blah...Well since you cant return wigs I gues they figured they would tell me what I wanted to hear to make the sale then of course blame me "for not caring for the wig correctly" how many times have YOU heard that? Well my mother took me to Wiggin Out and I was resigned and not very nice. When I walked in I saw Constance and she looked like somekind of movie star. I though she was going to be stuck up. But ..I was wrong. She was straitforward and she seemed to almost read my mind in what I have been going through all these years. She sat and interviewed me for about 1hr and a half and started to take notes and sketches. Asked me a bunch of questions. So then I told her what my dream hair was. She pulled out some of the most beautiful hair I had ever seen. My mother even was wondering if she should had ordered one too. So I had a wig made for me that I could swim in. It was twice as much as what I paid for one of my bad hair wigs but honestly what I know today I would have paid 3x's more. Worth every dollar spent. The wig came back ..90 days. A little longer than I wanted but I had a choice..quality or time. She did give me 2 synthetics to wear so I wasnt freaking out. Wig came in Gorgous! Hair like I have never seen before. Vickie Trimmed it. I taped it on and had a full hairline. First thing I did was pull my hair back in a high ponytail. My mother and my whole family are flloored. I have had that wig for over a year. It still looks perfect. I ordered another one "Just in case" and I feel I am set for a while. they are my main wardrobe so It was worth it. People...dont skimp on your wigs because you may save a few hundreds of dollars. A few thousand even. Its your hair! It changed the way I feel and how I am living! You will waist you money on cheap wigs with that processed hair. And be careful of Wig places that say"its the best hair" well use your gut instincts. Why is it the best hair? Ask Ask Ask. . Wiggin Out gave ;me a guarentee that If I did like the way the wig was made they would fix it or remake the wig for me. So Vickie was a very caring and very talented stylist and Constance is very blunt when you ask her questions or advise (dont ask her anything if you really dont want to know the answer, you may not like what you hear ) But she was right..of course. So go check out Wiggin Out. Yes expensive , yes caring , yes worth it, and you have to be patient if your getting a custom made. Thats all folks! Brittney Lowes from Simi Valley,CA
