Horrible
|
I have worked with this company under the names Window Fashion Pros and Window Design Group. I think they have had some sort of restructuring. They have been horrible under both names. Within a few month one of the clasps on the cords on the blinds was already broken and what followed was a Herculean effort to get it fixed. Every time I called and emailed it seemed like no one knew what was going on. Several people were actually rude to me, one lady refused to let me speak to a manager, and everyone was unresponsive. Even when I finally did get to a manager the customer service ended up lacking. After persevering for months until the cord clasp was fixed, it broke again within a month. This time getting it fixed was easier but when the guy who came out to fix it was working on it he asked if we had glued it. We hadn't, I didn't even know it was glued. So that means the last guy that fixed it actually glued together a safety clasp on the cord that is specifically meant to be able to pop open in case a child is caught in the blind cord. That is when I decide to write this review. All the headache, poor quality blinds, and horrible customer service I was willing to let go and not bad mouth a company. But when it comes to someone actually making child safe cords no longer child safe, and NOT EVEN TELLING ME AS THE MOM AND HOMEOWNER I can't take it. If the guy had at least told me he was gluing it and I was aware the blinds were no longer child safe, that would have upset me a lot less. I cannot believe how bad my experience has been. To add insult to injury, after a year you get charged a $50 fee for them to come out and fix any warranty issues and several of the less than a year old blinds are already showing signs of crinkling, deterioration, and wear that makes them look like they will tear and the black out shades are all losing their black out ability... they appear to be flaking apart. ... so I have additional costs and headaches of getting things fixed ahead of me.
