DO not use this company! And beware of broker companies as you may end up with them. Like all the other experiences, mine was much the same. The up front sales people were very nice and accomdating, but it stopped there. When they showed up to pack me, one day late, the truck they brought was already full so they had another one on the way; but that one supposedly was stuck in snow so 2 of them took off to get a local truck, amd were gone almost 3 hrs. That one was weighted and brought to my house, at the same time that the orig truck arrived. Anyway, they loaded up everything, packing by using way too much shrink wrap and tape to the tune of over $400 extra cost to me - and I followed them to weigh station. The weight stated my items weight was over 7000 lbs - which is quite funny since I had 2 other companies come to the house and neither one was over 6400 lbs - another $800 added on! I think they switched trucks. Then when they did the figures for me prior to leaving, there was an addition error. When they arrived in TX, I then owed them another $400 - I told them if one of my employees made an error, I would not pass that on to the client; but I was held captive as if I did not pay, they would not deliver; I regress, so, back to when they first arrived in ID they said my stuff would travel to LA and then be transferred to another truck for delivery to TX. I told them I did not like that as they would loose my stuff, he (Max) assured me that would not happen. So, I get a call that the stuff was on the way to TX and would be there three days later; I told then that was not ok since I did not have a house and the earliest delivery date I had was 2 days after that; well, guess what, that truck broke down so they had to transfer my stuff again to another truck and my stuff finally made it to TX, 5 days after orig est date. The new driver and his assistant were the ONLY ones that were professional and acted like they cared. They were as shocked as I was as to the condition of the boxes and furniture and when I told them stuff was missing, they did look further and could not find anything. He (the driver)also did not agree with the lbs I was quoted based on the amt of stuff. So, here I am with stuff still missing. I called them several times and was finally told to NOT call them anymore, there was nothing they could do, only contact their ins company. I have a box that was opened and a jewlry box was taken out of it, as well as other items that never made it to me. So, they are not willing to cover any of that. How can that be? There is no accountability to missing items? They can just take what they want and I have no recourse? That blows! Anyway, this company should be out of business. I will be meeting with a consumer protection attorney to pursue this further. They say buyer beware, which I thought I was.
