AHMSI, Inc. is nothing but a scam. They took over the servicing part for Citibank who bought out Ameriquest Mortgage Company (one of those mortage companies that went flat when the bottom fell out).
I've had insurance with my company since 2004 when we built the house. AHMSI sent my insurance a payment for the rest of the amount owed on my insurance policy (I'm having it drafted out of my account).
AHMSI turns around and put up an escrow on my mortgage payment raising my payments to $300 higher.
They are now saying that they owe me but because I'm behind on my mortgage, they can only take the money and apply it to my mortgage.
This company needs to seriously go out of business!!!!! I'm contacting the attorney general as well, for the sake of other people being taken advantaged of like me. I don't have time for this sort of sneaky business!
