I saw a Facebook ad for eMerchantClub about 5 months ago and put in my information. I had been searching for ways to make money online because I was laid off. I have literally zero experience with dropshipping or e-commerce so naturally I was hesitant. Won't let you cancel, despite notifying them as directed verbally and in writing for 4 mos! They just want the $29 95/mo fee and refuse to honor fault. Gratefully, I've closed the checking acct so they cannot withdraw funds, and notifiying bank. Next will be FTC. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.. IT IS A SCAM! After several months of not using E-Merchant Club, I called requesting a cancellation. I was told that cancelling was a two-step process - a phone call to the cancellation department as well as a written notice. I followed up with the phone call to the number I was given as well as an e-mail dated February 4, 2020. Was easy to get started with my website and emerchantclub provides free training and tech support. Very helpful if You have never run a website before. I can run my business from anywhere as long as I’m online! And I can sell my own products also. SLC takes care of the shipping and I don’t have to store any products! Read More »

I am truly impressed with my experience with Emerchantclub and thank them for their support. I started years ago on a trial website in 2004 and quickly upgraded to the Pro site. Unfortunately life got in the way, I let the website sit for a year and decided to cancel it. In 2014 I was looking to retire however still needed a source of income so I looked into some other companies and MLMs and quickly decided that pushing products on my friends and family was not what I was looking for. I have been with SMC, now SLC for 22 years. During that time I built my own eCommerce sites. I then decided to go with the smallest website with their affiliat that I could afford. Not complaining about the $29.95; what I take issue with is the OBSOLETE product they sell. None of the functions that I needed to work, didn't. I have been a member of Smart Living Company for years and love it. A couple of years back I tried to create my own site, unfortunately I am not a developer. I have been a member for Smart Living Company aka (SMC) for 15 years. Don't use eMerchant Club these guys don't know how to design a website. I am a website designer myself and I know how to build a website better than these guys. All they care about is making BIG money. So don't use them for your ecommerce website. This company offers a good product with a lot of options and menus and administrator options to make the site how you like it, but it exclusive to SMC. It charges an annual fee of 199.00. I had a unfortunate experience where they double charged me and took out 2 payments of 199.00. It took so long to get a refund of the double charge and had to jump through so many hoops to finally get the double charge refund.
