This is a Spa Manufacturing and Sales business run by Dave Maddox and his Girlfriend of many years Tami. They only care about the almighty $$$ and are theves. They manufacture sub standard products under the names Sensation Spas, Sensation Spas of Nevada, Diamante Spas and Relaxation Spas. They also sell BBQ Islands under various names. Ticked in San Diego....I wouldn t even give this company one star. Bought a Santa Fe Special at the county fair and ...NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, no returned phone calls, no anything. We purchased a spa at the Del Mar fair this year and while it was delivered on time it was extremely poorly assembled. After three trips by their local sub-contracted service person we finally got all the bits working. It worked ok for two months until the next part failed, again due to poor workmanship. We purchased a barbeque island from this company at a home show. After only one year the barbeque quit working. We have been trying to get replacement parts and no one in the company even knows anything about the brand of barbeque we got in the island. No one will ever return phone calls, we always have to leave messages and finally returned the part to them. They will not return our part to us. After reading these reviews on Diamante Spas/Sensation Spas I can't believe I have had such a similar experience as others. They delivered my tub 3 months late and when they did deliver, it was missing some of the options I had paid for such as the air pump blower system. I had some issues right from the start such as bad connections at the main board, scratches all over the tub cabinet which still aren't fixed...now one of the two water pumps is bad. Purchased the spa from a home show. Told we would get it in a couple of weeks which turned out to be 8 weeks. Spa worked just as promised at first. Then one pump quit. Have been trying for two weeks to get their ONE service man to call back. He called back on a night that he was not supposed to call and of course we were gone. Sensation Spas - Diamante Spas. Dave Maddox, President. Tammy Knott, Treasure. Summary: August 2008 - Original purchase of custom built spa; paid $8k+ CASH. December 2008 - Spa delivered defective and without "add-ons" that were charged for in total cost. Notified company. BUYER BEWARE....RUDE RUDE RUDE customer service department. No one will call you back and if you are fortunate enough to get through to someone, they put you on hold until you just give up and hang up the phone. I even called the owner Dave Maddux and never received a call back...very disappointed in this company...they are UNPROFESSIONAL and not HELPFUL whatsoever.
