We are a food flavoring company and for some reason they treat us like a tobacco company. They tried to charge us bogus fees and we have had to report them to Master Card for this. I highly recommend staying away from this company. VERY SHADY. Read More »

Bank card usa owes me $289.45 and gives me the royal run-around when I try to ask for the refund. My whole ordeal is too long to list here but the jist is they continued debiting my savings account for their monthly fee for a year and a half after I cancelled my merchant card charging account. I signed up for Bankcard USA Merchant account . I called them up to closed the account after a days my account has been activated, it has never been working by the way, because the credit card processor is not compatible with my website. One of rep send my a closing account form and did mentioned that $295.00 will be deduct from my account and it will be release back into my account in the couple days. I initially applied with a $10,000 a month account because that was the amount of business that I was doing initially hoping to grow in the future. Two or 3 months later my volume jumped up to about $27,000 in the the 2nd week of the month because one of my products was being discontinued and there was a run on the product. The ones I know have signed into a contract for years and it would not be beneficial for them to change at the present. However, I do recommend Wes' service to all I meet. We signed up with Bankcard in April 2010, we also had high pressure, and empty promises from the sales rep. Once we started processing transactions the problems began, It's the same everywhere you look. They hold your money and they will not return your call, emails or letters. I have used this company's merchant account services for about three years. I have never had a charge back. I have infrequent charges in larger dollar amounts (I run a law practice.) This company cannot perform per contract. If you do anything more than swap-meet-sized transactions, rest assured, you will have delays. They don't call, they don't verify, they don't investigate. I should have read the complaints all over the web before signing up with them. Impossible to get a callback and they either don't answer their extensions or worse yet their voice mail is full. After 2 months they started holding batches and didn't even have the courtesy to contact us and it was due to a large Internet transaction that we were unaware would cause a problem or "risk". I wish I had something positive to say about this company; unfortunately, I do not. Their high-pressure salesman promise you great service and the most competitive rates, and tell you that you can discontinue your account without penalty whenever they do not live up to your expectations. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. As a new business, we were unaware of what to expect with a merchant processor. We opted to rent to own the machine & have been charged $50 per month for the past 2 years! Who knows when it will be paid off. I am posting this review in hopes that other consumers (businesses) will learn from the same mistake that I did in agreeing to open a merchant’s account with Bank Card USA. This company’s rates are very competitive, but their credit card machines are expensive, and, at least in the case of the typical credit card machine that they offer—the Nutri 8320 (EDC/POS Terminal & Printer)—it is NOT Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant.
