5.0 star rating 11/15/2017 I went to National Family Solutions because I could not afford to hire a lawyer to fight for custody of my children. The forms made it easy to fill out my information and my personal Case Manager helped guide me through the entire process. I don't know where to begin other than how grateful I am to come across NFS. I was referred to them by a friend that used then about 5 years back for a divorce. Long story short, my girlfriend and I decided to split up after 7 years and two children later. I cant tell you how happy I am that my case is behind me and I can move on with my life. I came to this company for help because my ex was not being easy when it came to me talking to my kids. You see I am living out of the country now and Skype is really how I get to spend time with my kids. It was my first time going through anything like this and I cant tell you how grateful I feel to have had good people to work with through it all and that it's over for now. The staff did their best in a horrible situation and were there for me when i needed it. Got served with custody papers and all the attorneys i talked to were way to expensive. I did some research and figured with some help i could probably do most of it myself but i still wanted some support. Great Option if you can put some work into it and be patient. These guys helped me get time with my girls after not being able to see them for almost a year. The courts were honestly the hardest part to deal with but once I got in front of a judge and he found out I hadn’t seen my girls the tables turned. I found this company when looking for help for my friend's custody case on Google. My friend was in a bad situation and was too hurt about everything to find an attorney or a service herself. I came to them for help with a case I had been struggling with for a while. I Don't live close to my boys anymore and had a tough time seeing them even when I was in town. I worked with their staff for probably 7 months dealing with the courts but we were able to get some good stuff on paper with the courts and now I can take my sons out of state a few weeks a year. I used National Family Solutions to lift my hold to be able to move out of the current county I was in to another not touching mine... That being said I was nervous knowing I was not going to have legal representation with me present at the time of my court date. The case manager assigned to me answered any and all questions and the court prep that I received was awesome!! National family solutions is a scam they will charge 100 usd on the first call then want you to give them another 900.00 to 1,300.00 to do paper work you can do for free. They will also want you to sign a user term so they can charge you 59.00 a month. When they finely give you a referral to a lawyer they will have no idea what you are calling them for. I called the number listed below the name of the company to find more information that was not included in their web-page, nor the BBB page, only to be belittled by the customer service rep. I would use this company again if I needed help with family law issues. I tried for eight years to get custody back of my two children, and every time I would go to court for my self the judge would send me on my way. Nothing accomplished!
