It started ok. We called with a termite problem. They came out, inspected and then gave us a quote. We said ok and then it got fishy! First they scheduled a date and didn't show. We called, no response. Then they just showed up and spent an afternoon working on our house . When I came home after work I found wood shards, nails, rags and trash littered across our patio. Anacapa first did a thorough inspection before preparing their quote. They showed up for appointments on time, unlike some others. The extermination, including tenting, was done when promised, and with minimal inconvenience to my tenant. After extermination, the repair work was excellent. My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that the repair work required a couple of call backs before everything was completed. Otherwise, I was very pleased with the work and the price. A few weeks ago I had contacted Anacapa Termite & Pest Control for a termite inspection on my home I was selling. I had dropped the ball on ordering the report and escrow was closing in three days. Not only did I have termites but lots of damage. I had contacted 5 different companies in the area and no one could come to my rescue except Anacapa Termite & Pest Control. Anacapa termite & pest have been servicing my three properties for over 4 years. I've had them inspect, repair, and treat for termites on two additional properties that I sold. They also service my daughters Catholic school and church, and are active in the community. This company provided excellent knowledge and service. They gave me affordable options for my termites and dryrot issues and performed all of the recommended services within a reasonable time frame. Most of all they listened to our needs to NOT move out of our house and insured the safety of my family.
