I wish I could give Paradise Retreats 0 stars. The people who run this company have no morals. My family and I booked a place for Easter/Passover and we were coming from Philadelphia. I paid in full so I could be proactive and just get it taken care of. Once the COVID-19 pandemic started, we contacted them to let them know that there could be a chance that we were not coming. We paid in full for a full week stay December 22-26 2019 with Paradise Retreats. We had a family emergency and had to cancel 3 weeks before the rental date Dec. 1, 2019. Paradise Retreats only refunded the cleaning deposit. Every other company would give a full refund or at the minimum take 50%. These people are heartless. I would not do business with them. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION.DO NOT TRUST THEM! I booked a home and provided a deposit on Sept 20th for a very busy weekend in June. Now 3 months later they unilaterally are canceling my reservation. They offered an option that was 60% additional. They offered no other solution or option and told me it was not their problem. well where to begin... this place was not cheap .. 1500 for 3 nights.. 1 bedroom flat with a kinda makeshift cabana for the second bedroom with a shower unit in the small bath... They tried to make the main house modern and was somewhat nice, the cabana on the other hand was an afterthought ... The main house has a nice finished kitchen and bath .. the bedroom has an open concept into the kitchen making it not a place you can have any company when you decide to go to sleep .. so sharing this... It was so great working with Paradise Retreats for our stay in Santa Barbara. The customer service was prompt and professional. I was so glad to be working with such a friendly and professional company. I was nervous about renting online, but once I spoke with the staff at Paradise Retreats I was sure that I was working with a good company. We stayed at Tranqui-La and the home exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning to Santa Barbara again next year, it truly is a Paradise! Read More »

We used this agency to rent a beautiful home for our family. Unfortunately, a few months before our trip the home owner removed their home from the rental market. The agency said that they would find us a new home at no additional cost, but then requested additional fees for every home they offered.
