DO NOT HIRE. The so called inspector could not tell the water heater water was off and insisted that it was on. Told me he was once a plumber, what a joke. Left telling me to inspect it myself. Very unprofessional ! Did not even turn anything off COLD water, the oven, and windows open. Would not let anyone from this place inspect an outhouse! Do not hire this company for the home inspection! Their guess in inspection report is very bad for buyer and seller too. May be their price is cheap compare to others companies but their job is cheap too! Read others review. Read More »

Ray can say what he wants...... I had my home inspected by Ray himself in May 2012. (Obviously not 1-2 years ago...and he's STILL up to his old tricks!) He missed plumbing and electrical issues throughout our home. We now have to hire contractors to fix those items. And since the home already closed we will be holding the bag for the cost. Ray tends to be a bit unstable. He will talk nicely to you but when you challenge him on the facts he becomes unglued. How does a home inspector miss elect... Read More »

Our customer contacted A and R Inspections with a problem. A and R advised them to contact one of their approved vendor's, which my customer did, and responded to A and R with information the vendor gave my customer. A and R responded the problem would not be covered, my customer asked why and then the tirade began. I am a new home owner who had A & R Home Inspections company recommended to for inspections and home warranty. I contacted them to inquire about repairs that needed to be made to my roof, and after a few minutes, the owner/ president, Raymond Tavares, cursed at me and hung up the phone. I had to resort to calling my Real Estae Agent in order to get the repiars considered or looked at, and after several delays by A&RHI they informed that the repairs would be incomplete and no guaranty was goin...
