My husband and I went to buy a new ford from the autoplex, we had to drive 1hr to get to las cruses. When we got there the Internet manager Pat was very nice every one was nice till we decided what car we wanted. Once we got to finance everything changed, Luis renteria kept running credit to all the banks except the one bank I asked him to check cause we have done business with that bank. Went into Bormans with a friend (Widow Lady) to purchase a pickup for myself and purchase a car for her. Worked with a salesman named Ralph. The car she selected was a new Ford Focus. A price of $15999 was hanging on the windshield. We ask Ralph if we could buy her car for any less and he said let me talk to my boss (Junior). Borman Autoplex in Las Cruces has made me believe in the stereotype of car salesmen. My wife went there to buy a car to take advantage of the government program "Cash for Clunkers". She found a car signed papers and wrote a check for the agreed upon amount and according to the Gov. Program we should have drove away with the car that day. I have not filed a complaint with the BBB I think this review will serve a better service. If it gets removed then I will file a complaint. I hope no more people are taken by this company. I doubt that this company has registered any vehicles in this program, maybe they have. I heard from another dealer the one that we bought a car from that they opted out of the program and it has only been 4 days since we canceled our deal because of their shadiness. I was sold a lemon that Borman managed to get working for 15 days from date of sale which means I'm screwed as far as the lemon laws go. I called and asked them if they could buy it back for less than what I paid for it and I was told "Ha! We wouldn't even pay less than half of what she paid for for THAT car."
