Found through CCC. Have brought over $20,000. in C.C.debt down to slightly over $8,000 in very short time span.In the end I will have saved slightly over $25,000.00 in payments. I had just graduated college and had more than $8,000 in credit card debt. I was naive and had little education on credit cards and debt spending. Reading over these reviews, I just kept thinking: "$10,000 in debt? Puh." When I started with MMI, I had nearly $80,000 in credit card debt. There's no way around it -- that is bad, bad, bad. I used credit cards to not only buy things I wanted, I would use them for groceries too! I found MMI through the Consumer Credit Counseling website so I had a level of trust in the company from day one. Knowing that a group like CCC had partnered with them took a lot of the worry away. There are a lot of companies out there that DO take advantage of people, specifically because it is easy to take advantage of people at their weakest hour. At one time in my life I had $10,000 in savings. But then I had $9000 in debt. Only money management helps in such a situation. When you have like 20 credit cards that demand high monthly payments and then keep adding late fees and the monthly payments keep getting higher all you can do is turn to money management. I called Money Management just this morning and talked with Cynthia. She was very curtious, and helpfull in getting me on my way to get debt free. I have been so stressed with 60,000.00 in credit card debt. I just kept using them, hoping I could sell something to pay them off. But no on is buying. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with a debt counselor a few weeks back. She was very good, non judgmental, but knew her stuff. She honestly wanted to help. I'm in the process of thinking about signing on and will be making up my mind up over the next few days.
