We use Vacations Plus Travel ONLY. The customer service has always been straight up and treated my family incredibly. There are 5 in our family so vacations can’t be expensive as any family knows but Vacations Plus always finds me the best deal. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. I COULD BEAT EVERY "GREAT ?' PRICE THEY QUOTED. I SPENT $9500 AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING BUT AN OCCASIONAL EMAIL. We paid over $7500 for a membership in October 2019. We have sent over 25 emails with no response from Vacation Plus Travel. We have called over 10 times without the courtesy of a return phone call. We are beginning to wonder if this is a scam . My family took a 4 night trip through VPT in February, 2017, to Puerta Vallarta, and it was fantastic!! Everything went smoothly with our reservations, and we enjoyed the Villa Del Palmar very much. It was all that VPT said it would be, and more. With that promotion, we received two cruise vouchers. VPT has contacted me directly to book these cruise vouchers. I became familiar with this business through a charity event attended where the owner generously donated a trip for four to benefit the local elementary school. In December of 2009, I talked to Shawn Banks about selling my timeshare at Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk. I also wanted to rent my week between Christmas and New Year's. She called me on 12/23/09 and said she had a renter. By April, I still hadn't received any payment, and I called Shawn. She admitted that she owed me money and said she would send it. Vacations Plus Travel - a company based in Banner Elk, NC - contracted with me a vacation service in 2004 that supposedly guaranteed vacations for a lifetime for 1 week each year. I paid $2,450 for this service. I had one vacation with them at a mediocre resort in Freeport, Bahamas in 2005. October 2010 PLEASE everyone ....This company is contracted with Wholesale Travel Connection as a fulfillment company to book reservations. When reviewing the website for places to reserve for vacation, I found several that did not even exist, this of course was found after I did all the research. I have had nothing but problems since I purchased my travel package from Vacation plus travel. Every time my husband and I have ever tried to book a vacation we have had to call numerous times and have requested calls back only to be ignored.
