TOTAL SCAM! Manager Steve Lubarsky says "So Sue Us" when they steal your money... I know a TON of members who feel ripped off and taken complete advantage of. I never even signed a contract with this gym - they bought the gym I belonged to, then shut it down without notifying any of the members (when I went to work out, the gym was closed for good), and when I called the corporate office to get my dues back, no one would return my calls. Billing dept is horrible - takes months of aggravated attempts to get overcharging straighten out and then when they refuse to do anything about it and you dispute it with the bank.....be aware ..... months later they dispute your dispute which results back into a charge on your account. These people are horrible and should be investigated. 3 people from my work all cancelled memberships the same day. This business is evil. I blew out my knee and was unable to walk for weeks. They refused to cancel my membership without forcing me to show up in person despite a medical note from my doctor. I hobble in to cancel and they misrepresented the cancellation as a "freeze" that restarted 8 months later. The fees restarted again and I did not notice until after the second month when the charges hit my credit card bill. They again refuse to cancel me without a 30 day notice period.
