I am a repeat customer of Gentle Giant Moving & Storage. I have used them for both moving and storage. I cannot say enough about the service I received. The men who moved me on June 26-28 were the BEST. All were very friendly, accommodating and professional. I used Gentle Giant to move my entire belongings last weekend to my new place in Brentwood, and I have used Gentle Giant for my residential moves at least three times in the last ten years, and each time the movers exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this team, who have moving down to a science. They even assisted with the provision of wardrobe boxes, and packing. I trust this company with my most precious items. I got 5 or 6 estimates for moving and all were 3 times more than they charged me. They gave me great advice on saving money and then did indeed stick to a lower price if these things were done! I think it saved me over $1,000 and one mover quoted me over $3,000. This move cost me around $800. so I love Gentle Giant and will use them again. We had a large piece of furniture that needed to be delivered to the eight floor. However the freight elevator is not a standard freight elevator and the piece did NOT fit into it. So these great four guys from Gentle Giants proceeded to move this hutch by stairs. They did this carefully, in sink, with precision. They avoided sprinklers and pipes and more. Our move took two days and four truckloads! The first day six of them moved everything out of my garage and attached shop, including two pieces of heavy machinery and a large compressor, on top of a lot of "stuff." The machines are old, and they took very good care of them. Day two was the house, for which we again had a seemingly endless amount of stuff to move, not all of which was finished being packed. Yesterday Gentle Giant Moving helped us move within the city of Los Angeles. The team arrived fashionably early and set right to work. Compared to previous experiences with other moving companies, Gentle Giant's guys were more careful and more efficient.
