Horrible liars I had a voucher went to dealership that said Westlake said my information was not correct and asked for more money down . When I called them they said they didn't have my phone number or any information on me. I had the 2100down they wanted 5000. Westlake Finance has been a nightmare to deal with for OVER one month now. The repoed my car for non-payment.. which I knew was not true. I have NEVER missed a payment, but they lied anyway. My account got brought by Westlake. I was never late paying my bill ever even during the pandemic. When they purchased my account I was sent messages that they didn't have my auto insurance which I gave the dealer copies before I drove the vehicle off the lot. If your looking for a job/career stay away from this company, very disorganized, extremely impersonal, poor HR department and didn't even bother to show up for the interview (complete waste of time). This company has destroyed my credit. They pretended to give me COVID-19 Assistance and then reneged and fraudulently reported that I was delinquent. I have been fighting with them for months and the account has now been paid in full (5 years early) and they are still refusing to remove the damage to my credit which they caused purely because they denied COVID-19 relief. This is a predatory consumer lender. They have a history of siding with their fraudulent car dealership relationships rather than enforcing and following up on valid complaints from the buyer. Litigation is the only remedy in dealing with an unethical, dishonest lender like this. You can complain to their senior managers of operations and falls on death ears. I'll begin with my positive feedback, I've had Westlake for about 3 years and since day one I've always made my payments on time, made larger payment amounts and they would not bother me at all. At one point I was unable to make a full payment and they gladly deferred it to the end of my loan. No problems at all. I see the post people write. I never had a problem with them. I got my payment date moved to the 10th of the month to make sure it matches my pay date. They did it with no problem. I always pay 5 days before it's due. People are always wanting to blame other people for there mistakes. I own an auto dealership that singed up to do business with Westlake Financial about 5 years ago. When we had customers with very poor credit we would sometimes arrange financing through Westlake. Westlake charges dealerships very high fees in order to approve subprime loans (usually over $1000 per loan). There are lots of added fees as well for special circumstances that get added on. Called Westlake to get a payoff for a customer 27min for incomplete information trasfered 5 times. Ask a ? they put you on hold. I could've asked what her name was please hold. I had a balance of about $240 left on my loan and then it would be paid off. They came in the middle of the night, right before Thanksgiving, and repossessed my car. Of course the next day they were closed for the holiday. On Friday we called and were given 3 different amounts that we had to pay. My husband and I purchased a car in August. In October my husband lost his job. I lost my job in November, but got a new job a couple days later. I had my due date changed to November 22 before my husband lost his job because he got paid on the 20th. I purchased a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette Gesick Motors of Colorado Springs, a used car lot that my Father-in-law works for. I purchased a car thru a used car dealership and financed it thru westlake back in oct. 2005. While having the car i had 2 babies and had a hard time keeping up with timely payments even though i tried to pay as often and as often as possible. I purchased a bmw 325i from Autoplex Houston financed by Westlake in May. After purchasing the car, every week it was back at their shop for some reason or another. I have huge student loans and westlake financed my car for 1 1/2 years. I have never had any issues. Every time I have had a question, the customer service people have been more than helpful. If they didn't know the answer, they found someone who did. I am a teacher that doesn't get paid during the summer, and they deferred my payment so I didn't have to worry. I have made repeated requests for a breakdown of how my payoff balance is calculated, with no response. I have 2 remaining payments of $585 with no outstanding late fees, etc. Yet my balance is listed as $3253.97. I certainly hope Westlake does not intend to try to pad the payoff. We bought our car in 2007. Our car was supposed to be paid off in November 2011; however, we had a few times that we couldn't make the payment, so they offered to add it to the backend of the loan. Everyone that deals with Westlake Financial needs to confirm registered owner information with DMV. I found out yesterday from DMV that the very same date Westlake purchased my contract from the dealership, the owner and registration on my vehicle went into someone else's name!!! This is the worst Finance company I have ever had to deal with. Their representatives are rude and not helpful at all. I had a refund due because of an overpayment. After a couple of months and many calls to the service center only resulted in many promises and different excuses, but no check. I am working with a rep, who actually is quite nice, but twice a day I get harassing phone calls from a company who told me to "get my lazy rear to put the keys in the car they were coming to pick it up". Not too sure why everyone gives this company a crappy review. If you make your payment on time then you won't have a problem. If you are late or don't pay your bill, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what company you finance with, you will be harassed.
