We love these shutters!! Deb did an amazing job recommending the right shutter for each window. Her extensive knowledge and great product line let us have shutters with invisible bars for opening and closing as well as upper and lower portions that open independently. I purchased shutters from Elizabeth Shutters and the whole process was fast and easy. Anthony brought the showroom to my home with lots of samples. I did not have to leave my house (lovely). It took about 4 weeks to the install. Delfino was the installer. He arrived on time and worked quickly. The shutters changed the whole look of the rooms. Bought four rooms of shutters, including very tall ones for living room windows and another wall of windows in our family room. Also got blinds for some bedrooms and one in the kitchen. Overall, the service was excellent. Our salesgal, Sandy knew everything and was easy to work with. I bought 14 shutters and 1 blind for a total of $10,616 dollars. While the sales person (Linda Doughty) and the two installers (Gabino and Delfino), provided great customer service, Cheryl at the main office didn't. In fact, she provided horrific customer service. I wasn't happy with one of my shutters and asked if I could return it (it was never installed). Things did not go right on our job. The installers showed up near the end of the delivery time and it was getting dark before they could finish. We were supposed to move in the next week and there was no electricity or water yet. We got 4 bids for for the upstairs bedroom windows. The first guy had an affordable price but was in and out in no time and did not want to answer any questions. The 2nd company was really cheap price wise but they were made in China and I can't see how they could enforce their "warranty" with no facility here. Just finally got shutters today, 9-16-11. Paid on 8-10-11. Person who came out to measure was late, installer today was late. Install was to be 2-5pm he didn't show up till 6:30pm, without a courtesy call, or anything else. The "scheduler" Marty, needs to learn So. We used Elizabeth Shutters about ten years ago in our first house and have to say that the shutters held up fantastic over that time. We kept the house for a rental and they still look great with no problems to speak of. The finish looks almost brand new even with lots of sun exposure. I got three estimates for the first floor - they were cheaper than one and about the same as the other, but the guy knew what he was talking about so I went with him.
