I've been using Checkworks for years. They provide a consistently low price and don't bait and switch by advertising lower prices and stacking on extra charges. Their shipping is free. It's easy to get ahold of someone on the phone. Read More »

I ordered 500 checks, about 10 days later I got a call from people in another part of my state. They said they had gotten my checks. (Their name was on the outer envelope) I phoned the company and got no answers. A few days later I got a call from clear across the country, he too had gotten some of my checks. I hate banks. I really do. They nickel and dime customers for everything -- it should be a crime! That's why I'm so happy I found a place like Checkworks, Inc. for my check and deposit slip printing. I was having trouble with Vista Print's interface for ordering checks (not that Vista Print's great, but when I regret not doing business with them it says something). So I looked around the web for other sources of 3 per page business checks with stubs. Checkworks name sounds serious. I have done business with Checkworks twice but will not do so again. I re-ordered checks for my business on April 16 by telephone and was told it would take about 4-5 business days to print and about the same (or less) to mail. Ten days is a reasonable amount of time so I placed the order. At two weeks, I called and was told that my checks had been mailed on the 26th even though their website showed the 29th. I've been waiting a month to receive my checks and customer service just told me I am "within the time frame" - I received 1 package 3 weeks ago and I'm waiting for 3 more packages. I see that this is a very common problem and with the number of check printing places available, this is unacceptable service. I just got off the phone with checkworks, and they are awful. My checks were shipped on 02/02/2012, and I still do not have my checks. I would think that they were a big enough company to allow for better shipping methods. This is my last order to checkworks. You call the customer services to find out with regards to the order and all you get is to check on online the customer services is so BAD. if order over 250 checks and next day and you will never get them together and in time as they take 5business days minimum. They only ship first 250 in FedEx Next day for the services you pay for a high prices and then rest in ground. if you ask them about it never get a straight answer. they tell you to look at the order states and you will see 2 track... Lost checks never came in the mail. I called and emailed customer service and they referred me to the stupid postal service. Never returned any email correspondence and totally not helpful when I called. They never offered to send me new checks or refund me. The way they send your checks is the most archaic shipping ever with no tracking number, totally un-secure. I never received my order and the company refused to refund my money. They stated that their shipping could take up to 30 days, so I waited that long before contacting them. I recently ordered checks for my daughter and when they hadn't shown up after four weeks I contacted Check Works. I spoke with Donna who was probably the nicest customer service person I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. She explained the shipping method we chose could take up to thirty days. I think they are terrible. I ordered my checks on 12/22/10. They took the money from my account on 12/28. As of today, 01/24/11 I don't have checks. They don't care what you think. They told me it takes 15 - 30 days for checks. I would have paid extra $2.50 that now I'm told, but to late now. I am going to have to paid again and order from my Bank. Never will I do this again. I love CheckWorks. I ordered from them years ago and was thrilled to find them quickly by googling the design copyright name on the bottom of my existing checks. This the WORST place to buy checks. Customer service is awful and very unorganized! They are not helpful and they are a rip-off!!!! I ordered 2 sets of business checks. 1 was for regular check writing, the other for payroll. Ordered my checks on 10/7/2010. Received them 10/19/2010. All four boxes at once. I was a little nervous since I had read the reviews on here, but everything looks good so far. DO NOT, I REPEAT - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Unless, of course, you don't really want your checks delivered and prefer to cancel your checking account, auto deposits and bill payments because the checks are lost somewhere in cyber space and you have no way of knowing where they are. Terrible experience. I will never order from this company again. I ordered two boxes of checks, and only one of them arrived. This company does not ship the checks with any sort of tracking information. After a month of waiting, I finally decided to close my bank account to prevent any fraud.
