"DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP", especially for smog check repair unless you have thousands bucks to put there. I had a very bad experience with this shop, for smog check repair, they charge $189 for upfront checkup, including smog test fee after repair, which they never did on my car. Purrfect auto has been an outstanding resource for having my cars repaired. I routinely take my classic VW in for service from minor oil changes to a complete transmission replacement. They even noticed when swapping the transmission out that my belt was bad and they replaced without charging me for it. He said he had the belt and it only took a minute.
