I contacted Active Appliance to fix the water dispenser on my Amana fridge. The water was dispensing but not as fast as I would have liked. The tech came to my home, took out 3 parts from the back of the fridge, looked at them, put them back, told me it would cost $350 to fix and left. I did not want to pay $350 to have water come out faster and so I declined. I can not believe this company still exists. The girls in the office were very rude and it's like doing me a favor just to take my call. They were not helpful at all and would not let me speak to the manager. She would say they needed authorization to do the work from the warrantee company, but when I had the warrantee company call them directly the manager would not even talk to them. Beware!!! I had a terrible experience with both the technicians and the management at Active Appliance. My warranty company sent them out to fix my washing machine leak. HORIBBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DOESNT EVEN DESRVE ONE STAR. I provided the model number, and I included a note (in the note section of their online repair request form) that the heating element needs to be replaced.
