They went beyond what I expected, but helping me set up some things in my place, and even rearranged a room after I decided it didn't look good with my original instructions. Our movers arrived right on time and finished the move in 4 hours exactly. It helped that we were only moving 15 minutes away, but the original estimate was for 7 hours, so it was a nice surprise to be way under budget. The movers were extremely professional and efficient. They had to take a part a few items (TV, dining room table), but they re-assembled everything at the end. My husband and I hired Elite Moving for our local move in Sacramento from a condominium to a house. The thought of asking friends to help us move out of a three-story condo and into a two-story house scarred me a little. Ami and his guys arrived at my house right on time. They were professional, friendly, organized and prepared. I cannot believe they had my whole house secured in their truck in no time! funny things happen in life we had schedule to move with different company and they called us day before the move to let us know that the truck will be there 2 days later then we had it set. make long story short, I find out that we actually set our move with broker and they sale it to the higher bidder all our information include credit cards. I used Elite to move my mother for Sylmar to Florida, she is 82 and last time she moved was about 36 year ago so that was going to be challenged. Hi just moved with Rainbow Movers. Jimmy was wonderful and answered all of my many questions. He confirmed my date and time and the driver called before arriving. Well, It did happen to me as well. They damaged my stuff, mainly were boxes that in the end were all smashed, luckily for me nothing was damaged inside because the way I wrapped my stuff, unfortunately I can not say the same for my Ultra Firm Orthopedic Mattress which cost me $1000, It seemed that they folded and Now is useless, It has lumps all over in the back and it is not longer Ultra firm, also I got a Shoe Rack and a Laundry basket broken, plus my small dresser damaged as well, Today... **prompt, professional, moves stuff in perfect condition** Mike is a true professional. He is prompt to reply to emails and calls. Hi Moved about 2 months ago, Firs of all Donna who works at elite moving was AMAZING!! I called her all the time to change dates, quotes and other details and she was always available, friendly and helpful. We moved on Saturday, April 7th from Manhattan Beach to Glendale. We were very disappointed in the service. First, we were told between 12pm and 1pm. This move was the worst move I ever experienced ,They were not on time and they did not mention a word about packing costs,They charge you for rolls of tape and the tape roll is a 1/4" inch thick and they use allot on one item.To pack a picture frame was $100 and it still got damaged.
