I wish I had looked up this company's rating before calling them for my father's business. I'll try to keep this short but I had to call multiple times because the customer service agents and sales agents cannot agree on what charges are involved with their services. When our Homeowner's Association (27 units) signed a contract with Consolidated Disposal, we had no idea what a horrible experience this would turn into. They delivered dirty dented trash bins. Trash pick up days are missed on a fairly regular basis. No response to repeated requests to speak with the route supervisor and it is a battle to get them to credit our bill for missed days. HORRIBLE "SERVICE"!!! I've had nothing but probelms from the get start. If you find another service, GO WITH THEM, and NOT Allied! I can't tell you enough how terrible this has been. From missed pickups (multiple in a row) to refusal of refund (which I had to call 4 times for and be treated VERY harshly to get) to their lack of ever providing what's supposed to come with an account (welcome package/recycle bin/yard waste bin) to RUDE RUDE "customer service". Well I'm not suprised to see that the company has an "F" rating. We switched to consolidated from another company that was twice as expensive. The service was decent for the first 6 months, at which point the driver that was servicing our address left the company. For the next two and a half weeks we did not receive a pick up. I established a temporary bin and service pick with Allied on 10/24/07. The bin was scheduled to be delivered on the 25th with the first pick-up scheduled for the 29th. First, the bin wasn’t delivered on the scheduled date; they decided to show up on the 26th. Then, they did not make a pick up until the 31st. two days late. I requested a bulky item pick up on Monday, prior to my Tuesday trash day. The representative, who took my order, said that it would be picked up the following day--no problem. It wasn't picked up on my trash day. I called in on Wednesday, and explained the missed pick-up. The company rep. said the truck is out and working until 6 p.m. It will be picked up.
