I have used House Painting by James Lee several times, and recently had my trim painted. Once again, they did not disappoint!! The job was well done, with excellent preparation. It's well above the quality of anyone else. It will last for a long time. While there may be someone out there equal in quality work, I just don't want to go anywhere else. To begin, about ten years ago House Painting Inc. painted the outside wood trim and metal railing of our house, which was a fairly extensive task. We were quite impressed at that time with their preparation work as well as with the finished product. James and his crew did a fantastic job painting my house. They were professional, efficient and friendly from day one through to the end of the job. I had been putting off painting the exterior of my house because I thought it would be a big hassle. I was very pleasantly surprised. My husband and I hired House Painting, Inc. to paint the exterior of our home in Brentwood and we couldn't be happier. They did a tremendous job, on time, within budget. We are so thrilled. They just finished the project on June 15. James Lee, the owner, did a great job visiting our home initially and providing a detailed quote. James Lee House Painting did a very thorough job painting the exterior of my 2600 square foot house. The scope of work included preparation and painting of all wood and stucco surfaces plus all wood trim, the garage door, and wrought iron railing atop a fence. Surface preparation is the most important part of a paint job and they spent considerable time patching, repairing rotted wood, cleaning, etc to make sure the paint looks good and endures. We have had bad experiences with painters in the past so we are always looking for a good painter. I'm happy to say we have found someone. The most important part of the job is the prep work and they were fabulous on prep. Even my very critical husband was impressed. The job was perfect, couldn't find a single thing to fault them on. They are on time, polite, great with prep work and painting and always leave your home clean. They are very meticulous in their work. Highly recommend. Read More »

Everything was wonderful: James arrived promptly, and gave us a written estimate on the spot and also references to other customers and to his insurance. He even called to ask if his crew could begin the job one day early! His crew was courteous, efficient, and skilled. The final job was beautiful, and everything was cleaned up beautifully. James at House Painting Inc was won of the most 'on the ball' contractors I've ever dealt with. When he came for the estimate, he showed me exactly what he was going to do. He also showed me his reviews and many examples of his work. When he gave me a list of all the houses he did in the neighborhood, I was very impressed. His estimate wasn't the cheapest, but some of the others didn't want to do the level of work that he was committing to. But the price was fair for the quality of the work... Read More »

Painted the entire exterior of house, guest house and playhouse Mr. Lee came out for an estimate the morning I called. His crew was here to start the job two days later. Preparation was thorough and meticulous. They worked hard and fast for two days sanding, scraping and washing. I have never seen a better job of paint prep. The crew was courteous and thoughtful. I expected a couple of house painters to show up. Instead, House Painting sent us home beautifiers. From the start, they were professional. They were punctual, courteous, amiable, and always exhibited enjoyment in their work. Throughout the experience, our home was kept free of debris while maintaining easy entry.
