I wanted a serviceman to check the air output for Carbon Monoxide. Michael set up an appointment for a serviceman to check out my Furnace. The morning of the appointment I received a call from Kevin at West Coast Chief Repair. He said he would be at my home in 30 minuets. He was on time! He spent 30 minutes checking the burners & checking the vents for Carbon Monoxide output. He did a good job. Read More »

Overall they were professional and competent when assessing and diagnosing the problem with my furnace. They had to reschedule because the technician was overbooked on furnace replacement. But, the technician was prompt the following day and the replacement was done in a timely fashion. HE was more than willing to answer questions and did so competently. Read More »

West Coast Chief Repair called me before I even had time to contact them and arranged a timely appointment. They called me the morning of the appointment to let me know the technician would arrive within the next 30 minutes, which he did. This company is the worst repair service I have ever dealt with in my life. We noticed our AC on our newly purchased house was not working, we contacted our insurance and had one delay after another with this company getting estimates, and filling paperwork, not calling back when they said they would, not getting back to our insurance when they said they would, missing scheduled appointments, you name it, it went wrong. I believe the above company falsely, purposely and incorrectly diagnosed a problem as to why my A/C unit was not working. On August 24, 2010 this company was sent out by my Home Protection Company to look at my central air-conditioning unit that had stopped working. Worst customer service ever. 3 weeks after my estimate I am $75 dollars poorer and have 3 new scratches on my stove top and nothing is fixed. But the worst thing is, I had a different company come to my house today and was told the gas line to my oven had been disconnected, which is obviously VERY dangerous. I called West Coast on the brink of panic when i found out that my dishwasher was leaking. Their dispatch team was very calm and helped reassure me that i would be in good hands. They promised me a 2 hour time window, which made me MORE THAN HAPPY. The ice dispenser on my refrigerator stopped working. I called a different company and told me that the computer in my ref is not working and needs to be replace. The guy estimate the cost around $350.00. I called West Coast Chief Repair for second opinion. Pros: West coast charge me $45.00 to come to my house and check my refrigirator. I was away on business when my wife informed me that our heater quit working. With a 2 month old in the house, having a working heater has suddenly become very important. My management company contacted west coast after several contractors failed to repair my dryer. The tech was able to come out the following day. It just so happened that he stopped by my property when I was picking up my kids. i missed his call when he tried to contact me. I contacted this company several days ago in search of a part for my oven. I didn't have to go through an automated answering service and a customer rep. was able to assist me shortly after calling. They always try to schedule the soonest appointment possible and will work around my schedule if I need things changed. This company provides great service. I called for my air conditioner and the customer service representative was able to schedule the appointment for the same day. He was very nice on the phone and even gave me tips for saving energy with my a/c. The technitian arrived on time and was very professional. The price that he gave me was fair and affordable. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. The customer service rep. was prompt, effective and very pleasant. Technician came during the time frame that was specified by the office (this is a very rare occurrence). The quote was actually $50 less than the lowest quote I had from competitors (I shopped around, had 3 other companies come in for an estimate).
