My experience with Pampa Furniture in Pasadena was nothing short of pleasant and professional. I visited the store in December 2010, my salesperson, Karina was friendly, professional and very helpful. I purchased the Structure sofa and chair as well as ordering a custom-size railroad coffee table; the custom-size quote I received by the owner was very reasonable. I have never had a worse experience dealing with a merchant as I did dealing with Pampa. They are crooks, liars, unethical and plain rude. I buy a couch and provide them with a fabric sample. They say no problem and it will be done in 2-4 weeks. 4 weeks later, I call them (having heard nothing) and they say there's a problem, they can't get the fabric as easy as they thought and would need an additional $1400 from me. Pampa Furniture deserves a negative 5 *'s. Horrific customer service. I have never been treated so badly. I'm warning everyone to avoid Pampa Furniture at all costs. They delivered the wrong sofa and refused to take care of the problem after the salesman agreed that there was a mistake. I could go on but they've wasted enough of my time already. Probably the worst furniture store in Los Angeles in terms of customer service, reliability and overall attitude. It's a real shame too, because they do have some nice products. When we purchased a sofa from Pampa in 2003 we were told in store that it would take 3 weeks. 3 MONTHS later, after dozens of unreturned phone calls to the manager and our sales associate we finally received the sofa.
