As the owner of a Volvo, without any warning on my dashboard temperature gauge I BLEW MY ENGINE.. So I asked Power Volvo to have the Volvo service rep look at my car and try to help me. HELP ME - YES .. they quoted me repairs of over $5000. So I asked to talk with the rep and they stonewalled me. Long story short - a FAULTY VOLVO TEMPERATURE GAUGE caused the thousands in damages.... I dropped my 2008 S-80 (a company car managed by GE Fleet Service) off for service last Friday night. On Sat, the service advisor (Lori) told me that she had called GE and was waiting approval for an oil change, brakes, rearview mirror, etc. I asked what the cost was for the mirror - around $600 with labor, so I told her to forget it.
