Pricing was excellent and service was as expected (did not have to contact customer service at any point). No complaints. We upgraded to high-speed internet through Comcast and canceled our internet service with Juno late in 2007.

Fast forward to 2011, we realize that we had been continuously billed for anti-virus protection about $3 a month since 2007. My mother (who isn't very technical) apparently verbally agreed... Read More »

Andrew A. posted a review

Canceled in October 2010....in December, called again to make sure it was canceled. They had asked me to do this. In April 2011...was charged on my credit card again.
Called...they are not very cooperative. Never used the service at all during the period from October, 2010 to now.

Will contact the credit card company and get them to reverse charges.
I am of the mind that they are BAD NEWS.
I wouldn't recommend them to my friends, no way!

Apparently one of the other reviewers is righ... Read More »

pinkoo posted a review

They charged my credit card for multiple months when their service was not used at all (because my cancellation request was not processed in time). After complaining to BBB, they refunded back to my credit card. BBB was of help to me in this case.

I do want to point out though that BBB might consider a problem resolved even if a customer is unhappy with the company's response. If BBB believes that a company made a good effort to solve the problem, they will close the case as resolved. So th... Read More »

Lori R. posted a review

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible

I called this company and was smooth talked and charged 7.95 on my credit card. They didn't tell me they were charging me and the price that was suppose to be the "monthly deal" wasn't even the charge on my account. When I called an let them know of this un-authorized charge, they stated it was my fault, because it was past my billing cycle when I cancelled the account. I let them know, that I had cancelled our so-called account, the same day, same phone call w... Read More »

Vernon W. posted a review

I had NetZero dial-up service, which was alright as long as it lasted. The problem arose when I called to cancel. Their representative informed me, or so it seemed, that I could cancel the account, but they would no longer protect my personal information unless I continued to pay them a monthly fee. After spending several minutes trying to get an explanation for this, during which time, she repeatedly interrupted me, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me that they would not do this, bu... Read More »

Liane C. posted a review

Seems like a running gag with this company. Their actual dial-up service is okay, as dial-up service goes. But it was when I called customer service to cancel my service because I was canceling my land line and would have no further need for NetZero service that the problems started. A few months after I canceled, I noticed in my bank statement (luckily) that NetZero was charging me again. I called customer service again to find out why. The representative said the service was just suspended... Read More »

Shaulon M. posted a review

Is about NetZero: You innocently sign-up for their sevice. You contact them within 30-days for tech support & find out they charged your credit card. Although their policy states free tech support service for new customer within the first 30-days of service. When I contacted their tech team I was sure toask them if I was going to be billed for this call and after they verified that I was a new customer, I proceeded with my concern (which was I was able to activate their service on my computer... Read More »

janet s. posted a review

It is very hard to cancel your internet service with Netzero who is owned by this company. They do cancel your paid account but then give you a free email account and internet account using your old cancelled ID and email address and insist that you use the free account as long as you want, but when you ask them to completely cancel all services along with the free services, they will not cancel the free service at all. they tell you not to use the service for 60 days and that the service wil... Read More »
