I MADE RESVERATIONS IN SAN DIEGO ABOUT 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. 2 DAYS BEFORE IM READY TO LEAVE I GET A E MAIL FROM FOX SAYING MY PICK UP TIME WAS 6PM. I FOREWARD THEM THE E MAIL WITH THE RIGHT TIME AND NEVER RECIED AN ANSWER. I WENT TO PICK UP THE CAR AFTER WAITING IN LINE FOR OVER 45 MINUTES AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO PAY FOR A UP GRADE IF I WANT TO GET THE CAR BEFORE 6PM. I TOLD THEM THE STORY AND CALLED CORP. Worst car rental experience ever. The car had 16,000 miles on it but ran like it had 150,000 miles. LA freeways were scary when the car sputtered at odd moments. The shuttle was few and far between. Also, I left some items in the car caused they rushed us when we dropped the car off. They have not returned phone calls and the extension number given to me by corporate office hangs up on me. I was charged $150 twice for a quoted reservation of $53.61. There was a credit for $93.69, I assume to correct one of the $150 charges, but the other remains on my account. I sent an e-mail to customer service asking that the additional $150 charge be removed. I received no response, and called about 2 weeks later. The rep I spoke with insisted that I was seeing things,and that if I Called my credit card company, they would tell me that there was not an extra charge. He was rude, did not... Read More »

I rented from Fox as their rates were really good. Upon arrival however I could tell why, the car was dirty inside and out, they gave us the keys and told us to hit the alarm and go and find the car ourselves. The check out lady in the lot was rude. Upon returning the car they refused to credit me back $20.00 for un-used fuel. They pull a scam on you upon check in, they tell you this option is available, then put it on your bill, but when you return the car, no credit is given for unused fuel... Read More »

Rented a Dodge in Los Angeles, and the remote control to open the door stopped working at 10:30pm, so I called the "Emergency Roadside Assistance" phone number on the key tag. The phone rang for 10 minutes before I started getting desperate and started walking since everything I had was locked inside the car. Fox Rent A Car does not honor its reservations at the Seattle Aiport location. We made an online reservation on 7/2/10 directly with www.foxrentacar.com for a 5/day rental of a premium Chrysler 300M or equivalent, and requested to hold a car seat for our toddler. We included our flight information, as requested during the booking process, but it seems this information was not used for our reservation because we did not have a car. Rented a PT Cruiser (white) from them for a week @ the Seattle, Washington location FOX RENT A CAR. Excellent customer service, UNTIL I called 30 minutes later about stuff I left in there. They quickly replied that it had been rented out already? We returned the car at 4:27 a.m. And they had it cleaned and serviced already and rented out by then?? I dont think so.
