National Handyman is nothing more than Doug Henkin's sole proprietorship. He did some work for me and while the work product was fine, he was very unreliable in terms of communicating with me, returning phone calls and showing up to work at our house when he promised to do so. Doug Henkin represents himself as a professional. He lures you in with pictures of professional projects he states he has completed, a smile and a coupon. However, what he delivers is quite the opposite. A simple project, that should have taken a maximum of 1 week, turned out to be several. Additionally, the quality of the work was less then what should have been delivered at these prices.
