Splendid" is not the word commonly associated with the process of getting a tattoo. "Scary" springs to mind - as does, "Ouchy-Hurty" or "Sting-o'-riffic!" But my two experiences at Studio City Tattoo have both been "Splendid!" The shop is clean! The artists (and I am not just throwing that word around. These guys are "artists" in every sense of the word!) who do the work take time to talk to you about your tattoo - to make sure that the work they do is the work you want - nothing less. ... Studio City Tattoo is the only place I would trust to do my tattoos and piercings. Clay and the staff there are so professional, and the facility is immaculate. I have had 3 different designs created for me by three different artists who were all great. Each artist listened and created exactly what I wanted and then went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with it. They all take such care and pride in their work. They enjoy what they do. Very good experience at Studio City Tattoo. Nice atmosphere, great attention to detail. So clean you could eat off the floor. Cool pirate theme. Very unique. The owner, Clay, was fun and the chair was ready for me when I arrived. I go there every July or August and drive from north of San Francisco to do so.
