The features of this unit as described and lauded by other reviewers are probably accurate. Yes, the features are fantastic and exactly what is needed in the tv/entertainment market. I have a Magnavox Blu-Ray player that has been working just fine until this week. It refused to play one disc. I even replaced the dics with another one. Same problem. All other disc worked just great. Called costumer service and they told me to update my firmware. Problem not fixed. I tried to go to the screen that shows what version is install. If I could give this review less than one star, I would. I would like to share my story of the inferior and disposable product I purchased under the name of Sylvania, manufactured by Funai Corporation. I wanted to WOW my family for the Christmas of 2008. Last year in Feb, my family proudly bought our first 32 inch flatscreen television made by Emerson at a local Wal-mart. We enjoyed the television very much until a year later, it turned off and never turned back on. I called several repair shops only to be told that it was a cheap television set and most do not repair them at all! The shops that do repair them change as much as the television costs! After my husband and I moved to Florida in 6/2006, we purchased a Magnavox MWC24T5 combination TV VCR & DVD on 7-21-06. It was placed in the spare bedroom for my grandaughters impending visit and was used for one week. The following June, it was used for two weeks during her visit. My review of this company is very negative. Back in April of '08 we bought an Emerson TV. In early June it stopped working. We were still within the 90 days parts and labor. Funai recommended a shop for us to bring the TV to, but the shop was unable to get the parts from Funai to repair the TV. Funai eventually picked up the TV from the shop to do the repair needed. I purchased a replacement remote for my television, becuase my original remote was stepped on and broke. I purchased the remote in the middle of July, I recieved it almost a month later, and it was the wrong remote. I called customer service, they sent another remote. Again it was the wrong remote for this tv. So, I requested they send the CORRECT remote, and they tell me to send the remotes back to them at MY Cost.
