I bought a "17cwt ruby" from these frauds. They mislead people by putting ridiculously high "buy direct" price to make you think their crap has actual value. The "ruby" I bought turned out to be a red fish bowl stone. The value of their items are worth less than the shipping. These items start at a dollar because that's the very most they are worth. I have tried contacting this company regarding getting a full refund on a Mystic Topaz Ring 3 separate times. Last attempt was today, Feb 14/13. The only response I have received is an automatic response stating they received the email and someone will look into it shortly. The ring is not worth even the shipping. My experience with policeauctions.com is they usually ship fast after auction end and payment received. They seem to answer the phone promptly enough during business hours, however, the quality of the merchandise I received I would rate the value below the shipping cost. The main question I have is why are they not required to display negative testimonials? That in itself could be the decisive factor for doing business and I know for sure they have one! This company has one of the most deceptive and dishonest companies with a website on the Internet! Avoid policeauctions.com at all costs! Their products offered are sub-standard Chinese made items with very little value and their signed memorabilia is mostly fake! I've had some good experiences with Policeauctions.com but I've also had recent experiences involving so-called high end jewelry that haven't appraised out to the MSRP or buy-direct price. I was very surprised at the A+ BBB rating. I'm on disability and resell jewelry to supplement my income. I can resell 2 of the pieces I purchased; another one I'll give to my daughter because it is a pretty piece and I probably paid close to actual retail for it. Policeauctions.com is a dishonest company with arrogant employees to backup their unacceptable policies. I can't believe that the BBB rates them as they do. I CAN NOT BELIEVE POLICEAUCTIONS.COM HAS AN A+ RATING WITH THE BBB.
