WE HAVE OWNED 7 R.V. AND THESE PEOPLE WERE THE WORST. WE BOUGHT A ORE OWNED COUNRTY COACH FROM THEM IN 08 OR 07. IT WAS ONLY A YEAR, I DON'T HAVE ROOM TO TELL YOU ALL OF WHAT WENT ON. THEY PROMISED ALL SORTS OF THINGS AND THEY ONLY CAME THROUGHT WITH 2 THINGS. WE TRADED IN OUR REVALUTION WHICH WE DID OWN SOME MONEY ON AND THE DID NOT PAT IT OFF FOR MANY MOTHS AFTER WE TRADED IT IN. WE WEREE GETTING LATE NOTICES FROM THE FINANCE COMPANY. we traded in our 5th wheel and purchased a new trailer in November 2013. we paid McMahon's the loan amount ($17,000) less the bluebook trade value ($19,000). then all of a sudden in late march I start getting calls from the loan company that my loan account was now past due. apparently McMahon's never paid off the $38,000 loan that they were obligated to by law and left me holding the bag. I am interested in hearing from anyone else who purchased an RV from the Colton location and did not receive their plates as of yet. We purchased a 5th wheel on Feb 14th of 2014. I called the RV center several times to find out about my plates, only to be told it could take several months. I recently received a phone call from the finance company wanting to know if I had the transfer papers of the RV. We purchased our Leprechaun motor home the end of March. We called today, and phone number out of business. We called salesman and he told us ours was the last unit sold. He said other customers didn't get their units and they have been unable to get their deposits back. I feel very fortunate they didn't abscond with our deposit. Our loan went through. On June 1, 2013, my wife and I purchased a 2012 Monaco Vesta motor home from McMahons RV at their RV show at the Rosebowl in Pasadena, CA. According to the sales person and the written sales contract the odometer reading on the vehicle was 3,548 miles and the vehicle was in like new condition. We purchased a new Holiday Rambler in Indio and picked it up in Quartzite in January, 2013. From the moment of sale until now, over two months, we have not heard one word from our salesman or McMahon RV thanking us for being a customer. We went to McM. today. We inquired about smaller RVs, such as, Winnebago VIA. Once they determined that we were not interested in the big 40 footers at 300K+, the salesman just told us "Have a Nice Day" and walked away. He was arrogant and rude. He did not know that we had just sold our RV and might have been interested in buying another one. Another lady visited McM's in Palm Desert. She was alone. Nobody asked her, if they could help her. We were first time buyers at a show in Anaheim and unfortunately got sucked in! I checked their rating with BBB but should have dug deeper. The buying process was very easy, but after that - forget it! After they have your money, there is nothing but run-arounds and lies! I recently bought an Rv from McMahon Rv in Colton. I had seen some reviews on line and was cautious. I can honestly say none of the concerns posted did I encounter. It was a pleasant buying experience from beginning to end. Chuck in sales was wonderful, followed up on every call I made to him as well as Ryan in finance. My wife and I purchased a 2012 24' Freelander RV from McMahon's last August at their Angel Stadium RV show. The overall sales experience was less than stellar. My wife wanted to buy it and we worked a deal we were happy with. That was the last of the good experiences with McMahon's. Wish I would have found this site BEFORE I bought from them. I thought I did my homework, went to better BBB, they have an A+ Rating. The complaints I saw were related to failure to payoff trade balances. I asked the sales person and finance person about this, I told them this was my reluctance in purchasing from them. Just picked a brand new motorhome from McMahons July 2012. We all know the saying about salesman, "If their lips are moving, they're probably lying". In the case of this place "If their lips are moving, they are definitely lying". Sales and finance both lied to me. They have a ridiculous fee for what they call PDI that I have yet to figure out what they charge for. And yes, I paid it. Since we bought our RV on February 21, 2012 we have had nothing but problems and their Service Dept. is the worse we have ever seen. Our contract said the RV has to be repaired by McMahons so we can't take it anywhere else. They don't order parts like they say, they don't return calls and they give only lip service. I sure wish I had found this web site and looked at some reviews of McMahon RV and how they deal with their customers "AFTER" they get your money. My wife and I went to the Pomona RV show this past October and made a deal with McMahon RV to take our trade-in and pay it off and sell us the new 2012 HP Vacationer. I purchased a new 2011 Eclipse Attitude toy hauler on 1/10/2011 and although I had a decent sales experience the Service Dept. staff was an absolute JOKE. The sales and finance department were quick to take my $30,000 for my new trailer but after the purchase is made no one seems to care as they are on to the next victim. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISES. I tried to give 0 stars. My husband and I purchased a 2011 Travel Trailer for RV show at Angel's Stadium. We pick up our trailer 1 week later. During that week we were suppose to have a follow up call from our sales person and also the finance company. No follow up which looks like the norm for this company. We purchased a new 2011 Monaco Class A coach from McMahon RV in Colton, Ca. I agree with other customer comments, McMahon Rv is good for sale of the product only, AFTER the sale they will never call you back or follow-up. Their service department is a joke. DON'T GO THERE! If you think you want an RV and might need service for it, this is NOT the place. This caution is particularly applicable to anyone who does NOT already have extensive familiarity with RVs. RVs are FAR more complicated than your average car and WILL require service which is provided with recognition and consideration of your inexperience. I purchased a 26 foot toy hauler from the location at a rv show. The trailer had to be built and they told me it would be 6 weeks to delivery. We Purchased and R.V for $95,000.00. Many promises were made, thus far performance is very poor, none perform to be exact. Both McMahon's R.V in Colton and Irvine, are not customer friendly. Give some SERIOUS thought before purchasing an RV from McMahon's in Colton! We took delivery of a new RV a couple weeks ago and were charged $695 for a PDI which was NEVER detailed out for us as to what we were getting. Upon the "walkthrough" during delivery, many questions were left unanswered and required us to do our own research. When we first entered your dealership everyone was friendly and accommodating. This was the last contact that we had with your sales department that was at all pleasurable. We were assured that based on my wife’s credit score financing should not be an issue and we would be able to hit our target payment. We purchased an RV from McMahon's about a year and a half ago (the transaction went fairly smooth - that's a story for another day). We recently brought the motorhome in for some warranty repairs.
