The Art Institute's trick to charge more money from students per quarter is the "digital resource" fee of $50. This amount is being charged to each student's account when the assigned textbook is in the online database of the Art Institute. If you are enrolled in a class that have an e-book assigned to it, the digital resource fee in mandatory whether you wish to use the AI e-book or prefer to get it from other sources for the fraction of the AI price. Wow, where do I begin. This school did nothing but lie! At a very expensive price. I was told that they were an accredited school, when I went to transfer to another school (a university) I was told that they are NOT accredited. Their accreditation is through their schools only (private). I was also told about the great job offers awaiting me come final quarter.
