In 20212 the Federal Court awarded substantial damages against James Charles, the founder and creator of "Designer at Home", for breach of Fiduciary duty. The judgment was based on the fact that Mr. Charles was provided large sums of money for the purchase of product, which he fail to do. He also failed to return the monies when requested. In the fall of 2012, I was awarded a substantial judgement against James Charles, for breach of judiciary duty. The company took my money for the purchase of interior design materials and furniture, and bought me nothing. The company also failed to return the money I had given them. A lawsuit followed, with the judgment in my favor for the return of my money. James Charles still refuses to pay me the money I was awarded and has avoided all contacts by me or my attorney.
