Don't rent from this company, they treat their tenants with no respect. They Always expect their rent on time but we have been putting in notices of things that need to be fixed in our unit for over a year and nothing has been fixed. We've even had mice at one point, I had to pay out of pocket to buy mice traps, they send an exterminator months after calling them and sending in notices. We chose Lotus Garden from Swami International Communities to stay. It was good for the first months. When 2013 kicked in, we already got a new manager. Her performance is inconsistent. Roaches infested with a higher frequency after pests inspection. Leaking after bathroom maintenance. Recently, the company raised the rent to $1575 for a 3bed/2bath but obviously the living quality here is now not worth paying too much of high price. "Don't rent from this organization. They don't keep up with repairs and they treat their tenants with disrespect. They are very unprofessional and the apartments have sewer leaks and are roach infested." 2. As a comment to a post: "Unsanitary apartment complexes and they have big roaches. I used to live in one of their properties in 2011. I received a bill from a collection company on their behalf, I wrote a letter, provided documentation and mailed all copies to their head of collections. I never heard from her again so I assumed it was taken care of. Here we go these people are slum lords....We moved in and immediately had problems a major gas leak no oven or heat for 3 weeks... The apartment flooded twice in a month, the laundry room flooded and the washers sat in water for 2 weeks til it dried to mud and 3 month later still sitting in dirt,,,Had cockroaches and flying bugs in apartment and the exterminator they sent came out and literally left puddles of pesticide on my floor and carpet. Conveniently located next door to Smart & Final in Inglewood, We moved in fall 09, should have paid attention to the broken gates, falling down rain gutters and paint. Termite damage throughout the bldg etc etc etc. But we liked the Mgr. She told us everything was in the process of getting fixed. The only thing fixed is the gate, Our front gate has 3 different color paints, & the painter never returned, Bldg needs so much work and for the amount of rent paid it there is NO excuse for the bldg... I am extremely thankful for a property management company like Swami International. I just bacame a swami tenant. I tried relocating my family due to financial issues due to the economy, other southbay management companies were not willing to work with me the way swami did. Management companies due not realize how difficult people have it these times. Swami excepted my application, i have good references and good credit.
