Spent $600.00 + for an umbrella. 1 season later and the canopy is ripped. No one can seem to tell me where to get a replacement. Terrible quality furniture. LA furniture, Modern Miami, Affordable Furniture NYC are all VIG furniture. They sell by these different names. Also many furniture retailers across the country sell furniture by VIG furniture. Please do a favor and save yourself time, money and aggravation. Same experience as the rest of the reviews on this page - I have called and emailed a total of 37 times over the last two weeks - and my order has not yet been processed! I get put on hold for 10-15 minutes, hung up on, can never talk to the account manager, Andrew and when the girls try to help (Sarah and Laura) it ends up in "tomorrow for sure", "In 45 minutes" or "I talked to him and the order will be ready today". I am a local furniture retailer who carries only contemporary lines at one point. I fell for VIG and with big promises from their reps, I made them #1 supplier and started selling. WORST MISTAKE for my business and me as a person. They take money upfront and never ship on time. They have zero customer service truth, nothing is on its way in a container! I fell in love with a bedroom set that cost me almost 3,000 dollars. I bought it from Miami Modern Furniture store. To my dismay the headboard looked used. It was dirty and with stains. Well I bought this bed on Aug.11, and guess what? Nothing has been resolved! I love love love the bed but this is just a simply a rip off getting something that is obviously not new! I have been a dealer of this company's for a long time and I must admit that they are simply not of much help at all when issues come up. When their shipper's damage something, they tell us to file the claim with the shipper instead of them doing it for us (since it is their account, not ours!). And when we need tracking information for new orders, they never ever once have sent it over without us repeatedly and repeatedly requesting it. I bought a glass-top coffee table approximately 2 years ago from a store that distributes VIG furniture. It has a joint that holds the 2 pieces of the base parallel to the floor. The joint failed, causing the table to collapse; this table has never held more than approximately 2 pounds on it. VIG refuses to even talk with a customer, telling me to go back to the store. I recently opened an account to be able to order more comtemporary furniture with VIG. A special ordered piece of an expensive leather sectional came damaged in several areas. I jumped through the hoops of the claims department, sent several pictures of the damaged piece and packaging more than once. They continue to make excuses and refuse to replace the piece. VIG Furniture offers beautiful modern furniture. That's the only good thing that can be said about them. On every other front, VIG Furniture is by far and away the most unethical furniture company ever. To start, they require all merchandise be paid for via wire transfer. That means you have absolutely no financial recourse with them whatsoever if they make a mistake, and they make mistakes on a very regular basis. This Company made a mistake on my order and refused to do anything about it. They said "sometimes mistakes happen but there is nothing they can do about it!!!!!!!!" I am an interior designer and have never had a vendor tell me when they made a mistake that they would not try and fix it, until now!!! I've been in the design business for 25 years and I can honestly say this is the "absolute worse" company I have ever dealt with. Stay far away or get ready for a total disappointment!! I don't want to bad mouth the local reseller who I have experience with VIG through. This is only to try and spread a little word of how shoddy the customer service is at VIG. Recently bought a "full leather" sectional locally and it appeared to be a very nice purchase. I was happy with the overall sectional. Color was great, it was comfortable, and very modern looking.
