The majority of my transactions at Fry's Anaheim are uneventful and leave me happy with the purchase. This year, however, I had to use a Fry's warranty on an HDTV purchase. It did not go well. It was initially replaced with a highly inferior model. When I took the inferior replacement back, they were less than accommodating. Bad customer service! They don't know what their talking about. I will still give 3 stars since they don't ask too many questions when I need to return staff when best buy does and you can get good deal if you check news ads. They don't stock too many good deals so you need to go there right away and in some cases you need to even wait by the door before the store opens. Read More »

Sales people are pushy and obviously in it for a buck. The cheesy suits and slimy attitudes are a real turn off. However if you know what you are looking for and have the confidence the product is of a high quality there is a good chance you will find it at a very reasonable price here. Worst business practice. I placed 2 order with wrong mailing and billing address by mistake. Then immediately I called and emailed frys to cancel the orders. I have purchased this Sony Vaio Laptop from Fry’s on 2007 with 3 years warranty. The total came out to around $2100.00 USD. On Dec 19 2009, the display started giving me problems. I took it back to fry’s in Woodland Hills CA for repairs. It took them about 2 months to repair it; according to them they replaced the MB. It was easy for them to charge me for warranty if anything goes wrong with the item but SLOW for them to fix the problem. I took my laptop in in February 2008 and now it is November 2008 and they still haven't resolve the problem. I wrote and called the corporate and all they did was pass it forward to the store to handle. They have poor customer service meaning not returning phone calls, only call to check up once a month, and not giving you a forward and straight out answer. They call sayin... Read More »

I had a problem with an incorrect advertisement that listed the details of a more expensive product than the product number listed in the ad. Upon traveling to the Manhattan Beach store I was told that the product available at the advertised prices was one without the advertised features. This review is for Fry's electronics in Manhattan Beach 3600 Sepulveda Boulevard. Actually, the BBB seems to have the wrong phone number.
