This is a another example of shady business that operate amongst our neighborhoods. My mom was going to head up north so she went to firestone to get an oil change. Her car now has 106k miles on it so a oil change was warranted. They did a "complimentary visual inspection" and suggested new spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel system cleaning, fuel filter for $458. I was not able to file a complaint on BBB.org b/c apparently it doesnt qualify. So this is what happened: I came in, signed an agreement to pay for services based on my car's VIN number. Over an hour later, and after my car was on lift and taken apart, i was told they made a mistake and now want double the amount for the work.
