I would like to take a moment to say that I have been going to Independent Repair for over 15 years and they are a wonderful company. They are trustworthy, reliable and honest. On Saturday, June 30th I brought my vehicle in for the first time to Independent repair. I requested an estimate for, front end alignment, and electrical / tailight repair due to wiring issues. I was given an estimat4e of 155.00 for both of these items. There was a discussion PRIOR to me leaving the location where it was CONFIRMED that the individual sensor causing my taillight problem could not be purchased seperately, and that an entire wiring harness would be required. I will never ever come back here as they were dishonest, rude, and arrogant. In short, they cost me $83 and never even as much as touched my car or repaired anything during the 9 hours they had my car. I brought my car into Independent Repair for an 8AM appointment. At 10:30 and again at 1:30, I called to request an update on my car. Both times I was told they had not started on my car but it was "next". Finally, I received a call at 4:30. In August 2008, I took my car in for service. I was having problems with an oil leak. I worked with the general manager, Mike and the person that worked on my car was Jose. Mike was so patient with me. He qjoted me a price of over $3,000. I nearly jumped out of my chair. Of course, being a female the first thing you think is that they are trying to rip me off.
