Prices are exorbitant. Invoice identified a charge for "packaging." Never seen this ever (I am 67.) When questioned, it was really "shipping." By being mislabeled, I paid 6% retail tax on shipping. It is ILLEGAL to charge sales tax on only "shipping" in VA. There was a charge for "administrative fees." Again, never ever saw a charge of this type. "Sales Tax" was charged $0.0. On July 22nd a design consultant came to my home and measure my window for a new blind. At that time I paid $489.13 so the blind could be ordered. I also had to sign a document for the blind. I received the blind on July 26th and removed it from the package. I then realized that the cord retracts the blind is on the wrong side of the blind, facing away from the wall where it will be mounted. I have called 3 Day blinds on 7/29, 8/03, 8/06 and 8/08. Took my blind to the Huntington Beach Store on 6/4/11 for a simple re-string. Was told by the associate it would take 3 days from Monday, 6/6/11. I told her I would be there on Saturday, 6/11 to pick up and she said OK. Showed up at the store at 10 a.m. & there was a paper sign taped to the inside of the door stating they would be closed 6/11 but return on 6/13. I started my transaction on Feb. 24th when I ordered Dining Room and Living room verticals. When they were installed on March 18th, they were one panel short on each side and made so long that the valance had to be hung way above the window frame. The valence was also made 3/3/4 inches long instead of 4 1/2 inches long. The bedroom verticals were also too short. Bottom line, if you don't want to be scammed, stay away from this company. They will increase the price after you place the order and claim that it was an addition error or that you received a discount not in the system. Read More »

I had fabric covered verticals installed on 9 windows, and 2 glass sliding doors. After 4 years, some of the plastic sliders turned brown which I thought was a life-time warranty. They replaced all of the windows with no charge. The installation had not been done properly the first time, and the installer fixed everything. Great to see a company who stands by their product! I had a very bad experience with this company. When the rep came for her first visit, she explained to us how it would work once we picked our blinds and shutters. She told us for the shutters another guy will come out to make better measurements than she did and that was all he would be there to do. 3 Day Blinds has provided me with the WORST custom order experience of my life. The sales rep who visited my home wasn't familiar with the ins & outs of the products she was peddling. Her promises of how the entire order/deliver/installation/warranty process functions were false. called 3 day blinds, scheduled appt. Time came and went..no designer showed. Called again, made new appt. never showed, I called and made one more, they said they would give me 15% discount for my trouble. I fell for it. Designer finally showed. We went with woven wood blinds. ( expensive) installer calls 4 weeks later!!! installs blinds...THE MEASUREMENTS ARE WAY OFF!!! I tell them to take them down.
