Today August 2 2020!! my daughter car was Repossessed!! She bought this a car put 30% down on a vehicle that wasn’t worth SHIT!! The 1st week of having this car it broke down the car was then put in their shop for about 2 weeks. It was towed there at least 2 more times. Came to this dealership with low expectation. I have not built credit because I am a student. I was able to leave with a 2014 mercedes CLA. I am so happy with my buy, I would not be able to afford a mercedes anywhere else. The fact that they financed me even with my credit situation was beyond a shocker to me. I can't comprehend how they managed not to get in any lawful ordeal for all the people they scamed. All though they are predators to those who know little about their rights and businesses fair practices mandates. There are plenty of complaints online from the BBB on them. I bought a car from them, gave them 33% percent down on the vehicle to find out they wanted a extra deposit at contract signing these people are a sham family of crooks I repeat do not go to statewide it's not worth it at all. A Lady named Alicia claims to help you but she's the biggest theif of them all. She also told me about the mysterious Leon whom I never met.... They repo'd my car I paid double to get it released.... These people are crooks. They will do anything to get there vehicles back from you and f××× you out of your equity One little mistake, and they will tell you there has been a breach of contract. Bought a car in July 09. The 1st 12 weeks the car was in their shop for about 6 weeks. It was towed there at least 4 times. In January I was charged $1800.00 for a new engine. They would not allow me to switch the car. After getting the car back, I took to Mercedes dealer only to find out none of the initial repairs were made after leaving the car there for 8 days, 2 weeks after I bought it. I bought a car from them in January 2009 and asked numerous times whether the car was ever in an accident and the response was no never. They provided me a CarFax report with the details to back up their story. The problem is that CarFax is not the most reliable source. I have bad credit. But I also needed a car not anything fancy, no mercedes or jaguar but a boring basic car. I began to have problems immediately. First it was the fan, then the electrical system, then the brakes, then the sunroof. The list continues but I'll stop there. I talked with the mechanic, nice guy, assured me "I'll take care of it." BUYER BEWARE.......RUN DON'T WALK!I I recognize that Statewide offers financing for those who have credit woes and hence the mind blowing APR's. That's unfortunately the price many of us have to pay for our credit circumstances. However, beyond that, the customer service offered once you make a purchase is ZERO to NONE. The salesman are really friendly and they treated me with lots of respect. I went there all by myself and being a female and all they really did give me a great deal. They gave me a carfax for the car as well especially since all dealers don't. I did alot of car shopping before I came across Statewide Auto. They have real nice cars at real low prices.
