Do not bye a VeiwSonic LCD monitor unless you have nothing but time on your hands. On 01/17/08 I found out what all of you already know. I have called every week to find out when my new monitor was being shipped so I can send them back the one I have. After 6 calls and many hours on the phone it arrived on 02/22/08 (mind you I was told it will ship in 3 days after my first call)

I was told that after 10 business days to contact your support center in California, and a replacement monitor would be shipped to me if my monitor could not be repaired.
Needless to say, I have now called you call center at least 8 times, and have still not been able to get confirmation of when I would receive a replacement monitor. I bought a monitor thru Tiger Direct as a x-mas present. When we realized the monitor had issues, I called customer service and after 40 minute wait, arranged to have an advance replacement sent.
I was emailed an ARA (RMA) form, which I filled out and returned. I heard nothing in the next 3 weeks, even though I called several times, twice waiting on hold for 2 hours and still never talking to a live person, and sending 3 messages thru their website.

I had trouble getting them to allow me to return a defective monitor. While I was assured that they would simply switch out the monitor, it has been a month since they received it and I still don't have a replacement. I have tried called (I gave up after being on hold for more than an hour), and emailing them from their support page. I still have not received a response.
