EXTENSIVE WAIT TIME....unbelieveable, I went to the Western Dental Office in Downey, Ca on two separate occasions (within 4 days...August 5, and 9, 2011) and have waited 2 hours and than again 3 hours the next time....my suggestions, PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE TOO MANY PATIENTS FOR THE SAME TIME....While waiting in the wait room, i started a conversation with different people and was surprised that many of us had the SAME appointment time....if feel that a business should not take on more than it... I went to the Huntington Park Office this is the worst company ever, there all about getting new patients in there office to get braces, the office manager Nancy at this location needs management training 101, you see her once after you sign the contract for braces, and after that, all she wants is your money. Complaint 98594474 - I lost my Job back in 2009 - when I lost it I called all my creditors and worked out payment arrangement with all of them. If I had known that I had a Orthodontist Bill w/ Western Dental I would have paid that first as I still have the braces in my MOUTH. I called Gabby who is the Customer Relations rep and she was like sorry nothing she can do. I attempted to explain to her what happened. still nothing. DO NOT ever go to Western Dental!!! We had braces put on our daughter and then we left the area where she was getting her treatment and transferred to another Western Dental office. We were charged for changing offices first of all. We lived in Kingman AZ and traveled between Kingman and Peoria, AZ to her appts and came over 3 times, which is a 3 1/2 hr drive one way, to be told they could not put her bands on due to several different excuses. I went in for a root canal Oct.2009,and they set me up on a payment plan, and withdrew money for services I did not receive. They couldn't do the work there, and referred me to a specialist who fixed my tooth and I paid him in full that same day. I started calling Western Dental in February to receive my refund, which they agreed to do. My experience is connection with the Murrieta, California office. It has been an awful experience dealing with Western Dental, from having a 10:30 appointment to being told after 2 hours of waiting, oh we go to lunch now you'll have to come back after lunch, to being charged for missed ortho appointments that the office themselves canceled. My experience was with their South Sacramento office. I have never seen so much disorganization, unsystematic management and the most unprofessional manager. People there with me at the same time, (and it happens everytime we are there) complain that they have to wait for hours. Why bother set an appointment if you have to wait for an hour. My granddaughter needed oral surgery. Western Dental (Riverside Office Dr Hashem) was on her Delta Dental Insurance. I asked if they did a procedure called "expose and bond" I was assured that "yes we do", so I made an appointment and as per their recommendation I printed out and completed their patient information forms, etc. In the box that said what are you here for today? First of all I would like to say that if I could I wouldn't give this place an stars! I went in for a cleaning an a checkup with my husband. We hadn't been to the dentist in about a year so I was a little nervous. We waited in the waiting room for almost 2 hours because they couldn't verify our insurance. I had moved so I was looking for a new dentist. When I called to make my appointment the woman on the other end was extremely nice and helpful. I went into one of the Western Dentals located in Anaheim, CA. I went in for my 6 month cleaning/check up. If you care about your smile stay away from this company! I went in for a consult for braces at Western Dental and was told I would need braces for a year. I already had very straight teeth but the office manager pressured me to go ahead with the contract. I was suppose to pay a $99 down payment. IN DECEMBER OF O7 I HAD EXTENSIVE WORK DONE ON MY TEETH BY THE OFFICE IN RIVERSIDE CA. THE DOCTOR WAS EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY AND DID NOT CAUSE UNDUE PAIN. HOWEVER I HAD NO INSURANCE SO WAS PUT ON THE WESTERN DENTAL PLAN THEY HAD AVAILABLE. THE DAY MY PLAN RAN OUT, WHICH I BELIEVE WAS A YEAR LATER IN DECEMBER OF 08, MY FILLINGS BEGAN TO FALL OUT! In the summer of 2007 I went to their Mar Vista Office to have my upper dentures relined because they was just starting to become loose. I had them slightly less than 3 years having them made somewhere else. After 2 attempts they totally ruined them. They are now more loose than ever and whatever they did to them, they resemble horse teeth and are crooked. Also, they did work that I felt did not need to be done. I have had the worst experience of my life at the Western Dental office in Pico Rivera. Giving birth was heaven compared to what I went through here. I scheduled an appointment to remove a tooth that broke and sharp edge irritating my tongue. Well the dentist A. Abd Allah removed the wrong tooth!
